As a contribution towards the development of our nation, through the Janseva foundation, we ensure to recycle more than 25,000 kg of flowers offered to Shirdi Sai Baba into authentic handmade incense sticks. Before we recycled them, the flowers were disposed, but the idea of recycling them into something meaningful and useful struck into the mind of MRS. SHALINITAI VIKHE PATIL while she was travelling to Israel, where she saw incense sticks being made from dried flowers. Thus came the inception of handmade incense sticks from flowers. With the help of Mandir Trust, the noble work began on 23rd March 2017 with the support of women working every day towards recycling the flowers.

Up till now, more than 45 Lakh Agarbatti (Incense Stick) have been made under the guidance of Mrs. Shalinitai Vikhe Patil. The process starts with the transportation of the flowers that were offered to Shirdi Sai Baba to Loni District at the Janaseva Foundation. Later, the flowers are classified according to their colour type and dried for almost 3 days in a solar dryer. From the dried flowers, a fine paste is made which is then turned into incense sticks and again dried for a while. With this noble work, the Janaseva Foundation has not only helped in uplifting many underprivileged women by making them independent entrepreneurs but also it has made remarkable reuse of flowers that were earlier thrown into waste.
